Nov 4th - 7th, CND sent its 48 senior members in the FDI sector to attend a tailored training course, the first of its kind made by city Changzhou. Secretary Fan Yanqing, Mayor Wang Weicheng, Vice Mayor Han Jiuyun were present at the opening ceremony. This training course is organized by the Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau of Changzhou. More than 200 people from Changzhou have attended this training, which was conducted by the experienced leading officials and responsible senior managers from the Development and Reform Committee (DRC), Economic and Trade Committee , Environmental Protection Bureau, Commercial and Industrial Bureau, Science and Technology Bureau, Professor from Shanghai Foreign Trade Institute, and etc. The advanced development zones in and around city Changzhou have also shared their experience with the attending members. The course is designed to beef up innovative efforts, improve operative skills in negotiations, and explore new methods focusing on industrial line.
The 4-day concentrated training is praised as a high-level training and an excellent opportunity for information sharing with rich contents. Through the training, the staff members obtained insight knowledge on various industries, development trends, and relevant the State laws and regulations, enhanced skills on FDI promotion focused on industrial lines. The training also laid a foundation for a better performance in execution of FDI promotion activities and showed a way of better completion of the next stage’s target. |
